APH, or Axis Powers Hetalia, is a manga which takes place primarily during the World War, and the countries are "gijinka"-ed so that they are characters.  When one country conquers/dominates over another country, it is called "marriage", and when two countries become allies, it is referred to as "becoming friends"... and many of the countries are MALE CHARACTERS.  So it is very tasty for girls who like BL... ^^

 Currently APH is [probably]  in the top 20 manga series cosplayed in Japan...
